I love Christmas music! It is like a lullaby to my soul. I never believed one month was long enough to enjoy the music of the season, so I'm grateful that some of the radio stations around here start playing it the day after HALLOWEEN! Yippee! One of my friends made a post about her favorite Christmas music, and as I read it I kept nodding my head: "Yep, like that one; oooh, love that one; oh yeah, that's one of my faves, too!" So, here's my own (incomplete) list of just SOME of my favorites...there are really too many to mention:
Breath of Heaven--Amy Grant

The Messiah--sung by the Utah Symphony Chorus, of course!

Most of those are great, except maybe John Denver and the Muppets. I did complain this year when they started the day after Halloween. I think I would prefer that they easy into it gradually, but I am fully immersed now. I even went to choir practice last Sunday, as they advertised that they are practicing for Christmas. (The building didn't even fall in.)
I played the songs on your blog this morning while we were getting ready for the day. Wonderful selections!!
Breath of Heaven is by far my most favorite Christmas song! It makes me weak in the knees and all gooey inside!!
We feel very lucky to have Rob and Chelse and now Lois with us tomorrow for THanksgiving. The only thing that keeps me from having major guilt....you get them for CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
